This item was purchased as a gift with the intention of being able to gift two individuals. The reason for this rating is the fact that the picture of the product was misleading. It appeared as though there were two microplanes instead of just one.

I really like this Microplane hard cheese grater. It also works great as a zester. I needed a fine grater and had bought a smaller Microplane grater in the past and was very satisfied with it and decided to get this one for hard cheese and zesting. Makes grating easy and cleaning is a snap.

This is nice and work well. Very sharp.
The metal is a bit thin, however (bends in slightly while grating) and I wish the plastic cover was better designed, because I prefer to leave it on while stored in the drawer.
